| Our Goals |
Between Friends, Aboriginal Clothing & Book Drive does not receive any ongoing funding from government or the private sector. Supported by foundation grants and in-kind donations, many people volunteer their time to make Between Friends a reality.
Our Goals
- Increase the number of books sent to communities.
- Improve contributions of new badly-needed articles such as bras, sanitary products, recreational equipment etc.
- Expand our service area to urban Aboriginal organizations & communities in Toronto and northern Ontario.
- Develop entrepreneurial fundraising initiatives to enable us to become more self sufficient.
Reasons to support Between Friends.
- Help to combat literacy and poverty among Aboriginal people in Ontario.
- Recognize the value of philanthropy. Give back to our community.
- Act as a role model for our children - our future leaders.
Your support will be promoted in many ways.
- Public acknowledgement of your participation & donation in all printed materials (newsletter, press releases, media coverage, funding applications etc.).
